Vijay's 52nd Film Velayudham was launched recently held at the University Centenary Hall. The auspicious lighting of the lamps being performed by the kollywood couples Raja, Vijay, Editor Mohan, S. A. Chandrasekhar and their better halves. Illaya Thalapathi Vijay was calm and composed at the glittery event where the film was alunched in front of his numerous fans. The Film is the first time that director Raja is believed to be working on his own script instead of a remake, Velayudham also has talks of being a Super Hero movie. Velayudham starring Vijay has boys actress Genelia D' Souza in the lead along with Hansika Motwani, Saranya Mohan, Pasupathy, Santhanam in major roles. The film's music is composed by Vijay Antony. With Velayudham movie having a grandeur launch, the movie is expected eagerly by Vijay fans.
